Rings over which the class of Gorenstein flat modules is closed under extensions

چکیده
A ring R is called left GF-closed, if the class of all Gorenstein flat left Rmodules is closed under extensions. The class of left GF-closed rings includes strictly the one of right coherent rings and the one of rings of finite weak dimension. In this paper, we investigate the Gorenstein flat dimension over left GF-closed rings. Namely, we generalize the fact that the class of all Gorenstein flat left modules is projectively resolving over right coherent rings to left GF-closed rings. Also, we generalize the characterization of Gorenstein flat left modules (then of Gorenstein flat dimension of left modules) over right coherent rings to left GF-closed rings. Finally, using direct products of rings, we show how to construct a left GF-closed ring that is neither right coherent nor of finite weak dimension.

Gorenstein flat and Gorenstein injective dimensions of simple modules
Let R be a right GF-closed ring with finite left and right Gorenstein global dimension. We prove that if I is an ideal of R such that R/I is a semi-simple ring, then the Gorensntein flat dimensnion of R/I as a right R-module and the Gorensntein injective dimensnnion of R/I as a left R-module are identical. In particular, we show that for a simple module S over a commutative Gorensntein ring R, ...

The theory of local homology modules was initiated by Matlis in 1974. It is a dual version of the theory of local cohomology modules. Mohammadi and Divaani-Aazar (2012) studied the connection between local homology and Gorenstein flat modules by using Gorenstein flat resolutions. In this paper, we introduce generalized local homology modules for complexes and we give several ways for computing ...

متن کاملGorenstein hereditary rings with respect to a semidualizing module
Let $C$ be a semidualizing module. We first investigate the properties of finitely generated $G_C$-projective modules. Then, relative to $C$, we introduce and study the rings over which every submodule of a projective (flat) module is $G_C$-projective (flat), which we call $C$-Gorenstein (semi)hereditary rings. It is proved that every $C$-Gorenstein hereditary ring is both cohe...

Let R be a commutative noetherian ring and Γ a finite group. In this paper,we study Gorenstein homological dimensions of modules with respect to a semi-dualizing module over the group ring . It is shown that Gorenstein homological dimensions of an -RΓ module M with respect to a semi-dualizing module, are equal over R and RΓ .
